Rolly Polly Fish Head

Challis has had a good year.....I think. He turned 20 this year, and we went to McGrath's for some delicious sea food. He got a job working for a gentleman up in Eden. Challis has been to several states working for him.  He spent most of the summer on the road working. He's decided Black Foot Idaho isn't really the place for him, as he spent a good chunk of time working there. I think the more he traveled the more he appreciated living in Utah. Below he wears the fish head at the restaurant so they can sing happy birthday to him.
Challis also changed places of residence. He went from living on Zach's couch to living at his friend John's where he has a room of his own. Below are him and John.
Challis still spends a great deal of time with Melissa.  Don't ask us if they are together, we don't know, and clearly neither do they, but we all love Melissa.
We love it when they both come around.  We miss them being around all the time.

Dance and Sing

So, what's Channy been up to? She does the typical, 14 year old, teenage girl stuff.  She dances and sings around the house ALL DAY LONG! So, she found a way to do it in school too. Channy, was in Girls Choir the first part of the year.  Her group had fun at their Spring performance, and we enjoyed it too. Why she has stripes on her face...we have no idea.

This year in school Channy has dance and Advanced Choir.  Rick really enjoyed the Dance performance.  She did a great job. Below she's in yellow and all blurry because...she's dancing. :)

Channy tried out for Advanced Choir and made it.  She loves to sing.  REALLY, loves to sing. She's had two performances this year.  I do have to say the Holiday concert was over 2 hours long....really long!  But her group does really well.  Corbin really enjoyed some of their performances.  They sang the song Africa.  It was a popular pop song when I was young, and they did a really outstanding job on it.  Advanced Choir will be competing the beginning of the year, so we wish them luck. Below she is in her Advanced Choir Dress. She thinks it's the ugliest dress EVER! Her grandmother and I think it's the worst dress EVER because it's really hard to hem...If you could only see the laughs we've had over the stupid dress.

A few more things about Channy....she's tall! How did all of our kids get so tall?  She's up to 5'8" now. Our kids like to call us the little's, or their elf parents...rude! Channy turned 14 this year. My baby!  14! Her best friend is Maddi King.  They spend a lot of time together, going to the mall, the movies, and texting boys.  If you are Channy's facebook friend you know she's "in a relationship" every other week. Not really, but I think it means she text's that boy a lot now. :) Those boys never last long, and we do give her a hard time.

Just DANCE!

Corbin's been to a couple of dances this year.  He knows how to bust a move I hear...Or slam dance, which I'm sure his dates just love. Corbin took Rachel to Home Coming.  She was a very nice girl....who still awaits her pictures...RUDE!  Boys....what ya gonna do? Rachel looked really beautiful in her pink gown though, and Corbin looked right hansom.
A big group of kids came to eat dinner at our house.  They had Steaks as big as their heads and Chantel and her friend Maddi served them up.

The Food
O
Our friend Ryan, who just so happens is a Chef helped us out with the BBQing and saved our lives. :)

Corbin's friend Lindsey was Home Coming Queen.  She's just so cute.

All the kids
The other dance Corb went to this school year was Sadie's.  Lady's choice, and his favorite girl, Morgan, asked him.  He was really happy.  They did the Amazing Race for a day date, and Corbin and Morgan came in 2nd place.  Here they are dressed up for their day date.
They ate at Red Robbin and went to the dance.  Here they are in their matching shirts.

They went in a huge group of kids.  I guess the bigger group the better these days.
