Wolf Mt.

Family Night at Wolf Mountain

Corbin got to ride his board for the second time. He did great with only a few hard falls. It was much warmer than the last time he went even though it was night skiing.

Rick had a great time with the kids. He really enjoyed himself and wasn't so happy when I said it was time to go.
Corbin and Challis look like they are ready for battle, and they did get kinda beat up.

Left: Corbin enjoys his ride to the top.

Right: Rick helps Chantel into her skis.

This was Chantel's first time skiing this year, and only her second time skiing ever! Rick graduated her to the "Big Hill" after only one run on the Bunny Hill. Then Rick got distracted on her first time down the “Big Hill”, and I saw this kid ski poles flailing, out of control speeding down the hill. I quickly realized it was Cantel and started screaming, "CHANTEL!! SIT DOWN!! CHANTEL!! SIT DOWN!!" Finely Chantel sat down....just as she slammed into the fence at the bottom. It scared the crap out of me. I went running down to her, and she wasn't moving. When I reached her...she looked over and laughed. I'm sorry to say the children on the Bunny hill learned a few new words.

This was Challis' first time Snowboarding. He was a little frustrated at first, but he caught on fast, and he seemed to enjoy himself. All and all it was a really fun night.

The Greatest Snow On Earth!

Rick and Corbin went to Powder Mt. this month with our good friends Steve and Taylor Saddler. It was a very chili day with a temp of -4°. Glad I didn’t go.It was Corbin’s first time snowboarding and he had it down by the end of the day. He got a new board, and I think he’ll be going more often. Here is a picture of Taylor and Corbin.

And here is the beauty of “the greatest snow on earth!”

Rick and Steve skied. They froze their butts off. Here is a Picture of Steve.

Goals for the New Year.

As many of you know my goal last year was to run a marathon. I signed up for Strider's Winter training Circuit. It's 5 races in the spring. Here they are, wish me luck.

K, I started this today, cuz....Amber's was so cute. I guess I'll just start by saying that it's Christmas time and things are crazy. I ought to be out finishing my Christmas shopping instead of sitting here, but that's the way I roll. I went to the gym this morning for a charity event. It was a really hard workout. The kids are off at school, and I'm looking forward to some peace an quite after a weekend of chaos with Christmas parties, and Challis' food poisoning...I didn't poison him McDonald's did. :)

Well, guess that's good for a first post. I put in some pics of the Cookie party at my house and Chantel with Santa....if I can figure out how.
